9:00am - Depart from Panajachel, Lake Atitlan. Travel north east toward  Chichicastenango on the highlands of Guatemala. A 1.5 hours transfer  whisks you away from the hotel and pass thru exceptional towns along the  mountainsides. After a scenic drive you will reach one of the most  colorful markets of Guatemala...

8:00am - Guest will get picked at their hotel &  transfer to Lake Atitlan. Discover, a very remote Mayan Kaqchikel  community in Lake Atitlan. Here you will have a leisure walk, photograph  traditional homes and the best views of Lake Atitlan and volcanoes.

5:30 am - Our day trip departs from your hotel and travel to Santiago Atitlan  by boat. Upon arrival to town we take a land transportation to our  birding spot. There will be a cool hike/walk until you reach our birding  hot spot. The cloud forest is a fantastic spot for birding...

9:00 a.m - One of our expert bilingual guides will meet you at your hotel lobby,  once you meet him you will drive to the Iximche Ruins. Visit the  closest Mayan ruins to Lake Atitlan. These well preserved ruins include  pyramid-temples, ball-courts, royal palaces, a museum with the different  artifacts that were found in this city. Built over 1000 years ago, this  site is worth exploring. 

9:00am - The Lower Mayan Trail is a very unique adventure tour, and its one of the best Lake Atitlan hikes in Guatemala. Perfect for a family day out, starting from the valley of Paxanax and hike along the lake shore for up to 2hrs. Explore the village of Santa Cruz la Laguna, stop at great look outs and more...

8:00am  - Take a journey through the traditions of  Mayan spirituality as you experience a 2-hour traditional fire-cleansing  ceremony with a Native Shaman of Lake Atitlan. The ceremony will be  performed by our Tzutuhil Shaman and it will be in his native language...

9:00 a.m. -  This kayak adventure is a must do in Lake  Atitlan. Paddle along the lake shore of Santa Cruz la Laguna village,  where you pass by the local Kaqchikel Maya people working in the fields  and fishing from their unique wooden boats.

Starting Time: 6:00am  a Voltan Adventures's expert guide will meet you at your hotel lobby;   from here you will travel by boat to explore the trail of Santa Cruz la   Laguna at Tzansiguan Trail.
